Description
The degree program “Master of Science in Marine Geosciences” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive English-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum is aligned with the main focus of the department and the MARUM (Center for Marine Environmental Sciences). During the course, Biogeochemistry, Climate change, Environmental Archives, Marine Geobiology, Marine Resources, Marine Technology, Ocean Crust Evolution, Sedimentary Structures are taught. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to build successful careers in the sub-disciplines of water management, coastal protection, monitoring of sediment movements as well as scientific activities in research institutes, universities and authorities and many more. However, for admissions to the course a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
