The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Material Culture: Textiles” is a part of a collaborative program. The subject can be studied as a complementary subject at the University of Oldenburg. The second profile subject is studied at the University of Bremen. Spanning a standard duration of six semesters, the curriculum includes the following fields: Theory and History of Material Culture, Contemporary Strategies and Problems of Conveying Material Culture, Aesthetics: Clothes, Bodies, Fashions and Textiles and Sustainability. Upon graduation, participants find a wide range of career activities in media, journalism, museums, cultural management, and many more.
