The degree program "Bachelor of Science in Mathematics” offered by University of Bremen spans a standard period of six semesters, including an internship. During the course curriculum, students gain in-depth knowledge in mathematical disciplines making them able to apply their knowledge in various fields nowadays: internet security, evaluation of medical data, climate models, portfolio management, prototype design in the aircraft industry, satellite navigation and many more. Moreover, participants acquire the ability to think analytically and to solve problems using math tools. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to build successful careers in banking, insurance, data encryption, statistical analysis, management consulting and others. Admissions are restricted for the course and applicants must present a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
