The degree program “Master of Science in Mathematics” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, students gain in-depth knowledge in mathematical disciplines making them able to apply their knowledge in various fields nowadays: internet security, evaluation of medical data, climate models and many more. Moreover, participants acquire the ability to think analytically and to solve problems using math tools. Some of the major areas of study include Algebra, Analysis, Numerics and Statistics. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to build successful careers in banking, insurance, data encryption, statistical analysis, management consulting and others. Admissions are restricted for the course and applicants must present a Bachelor’s degree.
