In the six-semester course, students acquire competencies that enable them to take on tasks in the areas of planning, organizing and carrying out initial vocational training and professional development. With the degree, the graduates are entitled to use the academic degree of Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). The focus of the course is on the one hand on the technical content with a focus on mechatronic applications, on the other hand in the areas of professional education and professional sciences. In terms of content, the course is designed in such a way that those graduates who are aiming for a higher university degree are offered further alternatives to a direct career entry (see section: Fields of activity and subsequent master’s degree programs).
