The degree program “Master of Science in Medical Biometry/Biostatistics” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive English-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum provides students with in-depth knowledge in cross-sectional sciences. The program builds on a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or medicine. During the practice-oriented course, practical and methodical skills are conveyed as well as ethical, legal and medical aspects. Having gained competence in the field, biometricians are able to build successful careers in health authorities, the pharmaceutical industry and in research institutions.
