The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education” offered by University of Bremen in a close cooperation with University of Arts. The course of study has a standard duration of six semesters, including an internship and the writing of a Bachelor’s thesis. The curriculum is geared towards students who want to find out more about the historical, cultural and regional aspects of music. Upon graduation, students are able to pursue successful careers in elementary, grammar or comprehensive schools and many more. Admissions are restricted for the course and applicants are required to present a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
