The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Musicology” is offered by University of Bremen in close cooperation with University of Arts. The curriculum is geared towards students who want to deepen their knowledge in the historical, cultural and regional aspects of music. Spanning a standard period of six semester, the program includes an internship in Germany or abroad. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to pursue careers in cultural institutions such as the press, radio, television, music management and many more. Admissions are restricted for the course and a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
