The degree program “Master of Science in Process-Oriented Materials Research” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum is anchored in the MAPEX Center for Materials and Processes and is supported by the five MINT departments (FB01-05) of the University of Bremen. The course has a modular structure consisting of 5 modules: Chemistry module, IT tools module, Engineering module, Module mathematics and Physics module. At the end, students write a Master’s thesis. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to pursue careers in the subfields of Materials Physics, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science or Materials Informatics, Process control and optimization, and many more.
