The degree program “Master of Arts in Sociology and Social Research” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum provides students with skills related to research methodology, empirical social research and in-depth knowledge. Moreover, participants are able to carry out their own empirical project and write a Master’s thesis. During the program, Social relationships, networks and integration and Institutionalized inequalities are the major fields taught. However, admissions are restricted and a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite in order to enroll in the program.
