The degree program “Master of Education in Study of Relgiion/Religious Education” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum is geared towards students who want to furher develop their knowledge related to the dynamics of religious diversity. The curriculum has a modular structure including the following major fields covered: Global History of Religion, Empirical Research Into Contemporary Religious Culture, Religion and Digital Dedia, Religious Education and Specialist Didactics, Theories in Religious Studies, Postcolonial Theory, Religion and Mediation, Education, Religion, Society and a few more essential subjects. Admissions are restricted for the course and a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite in order to enroll in the program. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are a soight-after specialists in high schools, primary schools and grammar schools.
