The degree program “Master of Education: Teacher at Vocational Schools - Nursing” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum’s objective is to convey students in- depth knowledge of nursing tasks’s nature as well as communication skills in order to apply them in practice and in their vocations. Moreover, the content of the courses is based on Appendices 1-5 of the Training and Examination Ordinance for the Nursing Professions (PflAPrV), including nursing care at the micro, meso and macro level. For admission to the course, a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
