The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education and Training: Mechatronics” offered by University of Bremen spans a standard duration of six semesters. During the course curriculum, students acquire skills that enable them to take on tasks in the areas of planning and organizing vocational training and development in the context of mechatronics- related sciences. After completing the Master’s course, participants are allowed to take up a year and a half of preparatory assistance, since the program embodies the first phase of training to become a vocational teacher. Upon graduation, participants have a wide range of career opportunities in automotive and aircraft industries, but also in shipbuilding or metalworking companies and many more. Admission requirements include general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
