The degree program “Master of Arts in Vocational Education Nursing Science” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum is aimed at prospective students with a specialist bachelor's degree in nursing science, therapeutic sciences or midwifery science, opening up the possibility of doing a doctorate. Moreover, the second semester provides for a practice semester in terms of a 12-week school internship or a professional educational internship of 12 weeks after the third semester. However, for admission to a master’s course, a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
