Description
The “Master of Arts in Ancient Languages and Cultures/Jewish Studies” program at the University of Cologne is with a scope of 4 full-time semesters. The master's degree allows for the autonomous, reflective application of scientific techniques to selected topic areas of the subject, as well as a research-oriented development and expansion of the information and abilities obtained in the bachelor's program. Students can participate in editing projects or, if required, obtain preliminary experience teaching Judaistic knowledge and scientific procedures in a university setting as a tutor. A bachelor’s degree in Jewish Studies, 60 relevant LP, sufficient Hebrew to understand Hebrew texts and a B2 level of English are admission prerequisites.
