The “Master of Arts in Art History” program at the University of Cologne primarily aims to give in-depth methodological critique and to broaden understanding of art historical subjects, especially in the context of institute research and interdisciplinary interaction. Over the course of 4 full-time semesters, students acquire the ability to independently and scientifically deal with objects and concepts from art history. As part of the admission requirements, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 40 relevant LP, English at level B2, and an additional working language A2.
