The undergraduate degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Biology” is offered by University of Cologne. It is spanning a standard duration of 6 semesters. During the course, students acquire methodological knowledge, skills and abilities that make them able to work in vocational colleges in the future. Moreover, participants gain educational, content and didactic competencies. Molecular Basics of Cell Biology and Biochemistry, Genetics, Didactics in biology, Evolution, development and systematics of animals and other core areas are taught. However, for admission, one language level B1 GER is required or level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
