The "Master of Education in Catholic Religious Education" program at the University of Cologne lasts four semesters. The degree is designed for prospective primary school teachers and incorporates courses from a variety of faculties and learning situations, including as universities, practical school teacher training centers (ZfsL), and schools. The Institute for Catholic Theology offers a religious academic program. In the second semester, the practical semester will incorporate the school as an educational environment as well as centers for professional school teacher training. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required for admission to the program.
