The interdisciplinary degree program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” is offered by University of Cologne. It is spanning a standard duration of 6 semesters. During the course, participants gain extensive skills in general, inorganic, organic, physical and theoretical chemistry. Moreover, knowledge in biochemistry, physics and mathematics is also acquired during the scientific-chemical education. In addition, internships in the individual chemical areas are incorporated. Here, the aim is to apply the theoretical knowledge gained into practice. For admission, good knowledge of English and sufficient knowledge of mathematics and physics are desirable.
