The “Master of Arts in China Studies” program at the University of Cologne aims to deepen students’ language skills and enrich their knowledge of Chinese culture and traditions. During 4 full-time semesters, students are taught subjects like Media, Literatures and Arts of China, Chinese philosophy and discursive practices, Concepts and Paradigms of China Studies, Models and methods of cultural studies, Mobility and practice and more. Admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies or Humanities, subject 90 relevant CP, 20 CP in modules related to China, a minimum grade of 2.4, Chinese level HSK5 and English at B2 level.
