The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Dutch” is offered by University of Cologne. The duration amounts to 6 semesters. The course must be combined with a core subject. During the curriculum, participants gain skills in language practice, literary studies, linguistics, subject didactics and cultural studies of Dutch. Moreover, Introduction and literary basics, Dutch culture, Dutch language and culture: practice and mediation, Dutch language and culture and many more core areas are taught. However, for admission, knowledge of one language on level B2 is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
