The University of Cologne's "Master of Education in Dutch" program is geared for students who want to teach at vocational institutions. Over the course of four full-time semesters, a diverse variety of courses are introduced into the curriculum in order to build on students' prior knowledge and mold them into specialists capable of handling the rigors of everyday professional life. Admission requires a Bachelor's degree with "appropriate teaching certification" and "compatible" subjects, as well as proof of at least 144 relevant credit points from completed courses.
