The double master program “Master of Science/Master of Arts in Economics” at the University of Cologne gives students the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of two top universities. Participants in the program study for one year at each university and earn two master's degrees: a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Cologne and a Master of Arts in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. Students will gain comprehensive methodological competence and understanding of a number of theoretical techniques to analyze and construct conceptual models to forecast reactions to changes in policy and market conditions on their own. Students can learn how to tackle complicated economic problems on an international scale in a globalized, linked world by examining cross-national links and impacts thanks to the international orientation.
