The “Master of Education in Educational Sciences” program at the University of Cologne is designed with a study profile for teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, and Comprehensive Schools. During 4 full-time semesters, a variety of subjects are integrated into the curriculum, in order to build on students’ previous knowledge and shape them into experts, prepared for daily professional challenges. A Bachelor's degree with a "suitable teaching qualification" and "suitable" subjects, and evidence of at least 144 relevant credit points from completed modules are admission requirements.
