The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in English” is offered by University of Cologne. It is spanning a standard duration of 6 semesters and must be studied in combination with the latter: special education subject I and II - Subject I or learning area I - Subject II or learning area II English is studied as subject II. During the course, participants acquire the first technical and didactic knowledge and skills that enable them to teach English in a meaningful manner in accordance with the objectives set for it. Here, the aim is to impart scientific methods, knowledge and system competencies. In addition, the end of the program provides for the creation of the bachelor’s thesis.
