The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature” is offered by University of Cologne. It spans a standard duration of 6 semesters. The German-taught course must be combined with a second subject. During the curriculum, participants acquire basic grammatical and communicative aspects of the German language. Moreover, various epochs of the Middle Ages and modern times are explored. However, for enrollment, a proof of English B2, another modern foreign language A2 sufficiency or knowledge of Latin in the scope of the small Latinum is required.
