The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in German” is offered by University of Cologne. It amounts to 6 semesters. The following subject combination must be studied in the bachelor's degree in teaching for special needs education. During the course, students receive in-depth linguistic education. Moreover, they acquire the necessary technical competencies depending to the content and subjects of the learning area. In addition, Mediation processes are explored, aiming to enable participants to conduct an independent analysis and planning of teaching processes. However, for admission, level B1 in one language is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
