The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in History” is offered by University of Cologne. It is spanning a standard duration of 6 semesters. The following must be studied in combination with another subject. During the course, students acquire extensive technical knowledge that enable them to carry out scientific work on their own. Moreover, Old history, Medieval history, Recent history, Supplementary basic studies, Didactics of history, Epochal focus and other core areas are taught. However, for admission, level B1 in one language is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
