Description
The German-taught state examination program “Human Medicine” is offered by University of Cologne. Its duration is 6 years and 3 months. Moreover, the last 12 months involve a practical training of 48 weeks in clinics. The course is divided into two sections: first stage of study spanning a duration of two years and second phase of study with a duration of four years including the practical year. Among the elective subjects are: General medicine, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and venereology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Geriatrics, Ear, nose and throat medicine, and many more.
