The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Japanese” is offered by University of Cologne. It must be studied in combination with another core subject. During the course, participants acquire extensive knowledge of Japanese language, Japanese culture and specialist Japanese didactics. In order to enroll, level B1 in French is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.Upon graduation, graduates are able to build successful careers at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
