The “Master of Laws in Law, Business Law” program at the University of Cologne is with a length of 2 part-time semesters. The master's program's goal is to provide a wide, business-oriented education that allows and encourages individual concentration. Attending economics events aimed to communicate fundamental economic problem knowledge and tools is required. The University of Cologne's Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences provides business attorneys specialized lectures, workshops, and seminars. Participants include freshly graduated university students, assessors, attorneys, and corporate lawyers. Admission requirements include a legal degree "first examination" with a minimum grade of "completely satisfactory" or "satisfactory" and a seminar certificate with a minimum grade of "good" or a corresponding foreign examination, and proof of sufficient knowledge of German.
