Description


The “Master of Laws in Law, Corporate Tax Law” program at the University of Cologne aims to train practitioners in the field of corporate tax law, including the necessary aspects of corporate and accounting law, on an extra-occupational basis. Over the course of 2 semesters, students are taught the basics, National corporate tax law, International, European and foreign corporate tax law, and Corporate taxation and structuring advice. The course concludes with a master’s thesis. Admission requirements include a degree in law or economics from a German university (state examination, diploma, master’s or bachelor’s degree) or comparable degree from a foreign university. Relevant professional experience and prior tax knowledge are also required.
