Description
The “Master of Laws in Law, German and Turkish business law Cologne/Istanbul” program at the University of Cologne is with a length of 2 full-time semesters. The goal of this course is to prepare students for legal practice in commercial law on the worldwide job market by providing high-quality, in-depth training. Students of Turkish descent interested in current Turkish law will be addressed in Germany. One of the main goals of the study program for German-Turkish legal practitioners is to practice methodological and analytical skills. Admission requirements are a law degree within the scope of the Turkish Higher Education Framework Act (Yüksek Öğretim Kanunu) with the degree "Lisans, LL.B." and proof of fulfillment of the admission criteria of the Turkish regulation for postgraduate studies (Lisansüstü Eğitim ve Öğretim Yönetmeliği) in the currently valid version or - a law degree within the scope of the German Basic Law with the degree "First Examination" - a law bachelor's degree not obtained in Turkey or Germany with 240 credits or - a degree that is otherwise comparable to the German degree "First Examination" in the subject of law, proof of sufficient knowledge of German and Turkish.
