Those with a passion for special education can apply to the University of Cologne's "Master of Education in Learning" program. A varied range of courses are introduced into the curriculum over the course of four full-time semesters to build on students' past knowledge and mold them into experts capable of facing the demands of ordinary professional life. A Bachelor's degree with "suitable teaching certification" and "compatible" disciplines, as well as verification of 144 applicable credit points from completed courses, is required for admission.
