The “Master of Science in Mathematics” program at the University of Cologne is with a length of 4 full-time semesters. Students get in-depth understanding of sub-areas of pure and applied mathematics in accordance with a minor during the course. In addition to the option of pursuing specialties, a suitable level of professional breadth is emphasized. They can pick from computer science, physics, economics, and economics as minor studies. On request, the Examination Board can allow extra minors. Admission requirements include a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or another degree whose qualification corresponds to the bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Cologne in accordance with the relevant version of the bachelor's examination regulations.
