The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Music” is offered by University of Cologne with a duration of 6 semesters. The subject of music is a combination of two special needs education subjects and a subject I or learning area I. During the course, basic skills and abilities related to music and its communication are taught. Moreover, the focus of the program is put on music practice, musicology and music education. However, for admission, knowledge of one language on level B2 is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English. Upon gradution, graduates have excellent career prospects.
