Description
The “Master of Science in Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere” program at the University of Cologne is with a length of 4 full-time semesters. The course is intended to provide advanced knowledge in one of two fields: geophysics or meteorology. The curriculum prepares students for a future profession as a geophysicist or meteorologist by providing advanced skills and in-depth knowledge. They learn how to think and operate independently and extensively in science, in addition to being exposed to cutting-edge geophysics and meteorology. The degree expands on the information gained in a B.Sc. level geophysics/meteorology program. Graduates of similar B.Sc. programs are encouraged to apply to the M.Sc. degree, provided they meet the entrance requirements.
