Description


The “Master of Education in Physics” program at the University of Cologne is designed for students who intend to teach at lower secondary, secondary modern and comprehensive schools. Over the course of 4 full-time semesters, technical and didactic skills are imparted through a variety of lectures and intense practical training. A practical semester of at least 5 months in the chosen subjects and a type of school corresponding to the desired teaching position is completed in the second semester of the master's degree. A Bachelor's degree with "suitable teaching certification" and "compatible" fields, as well as evidence of at least 144 relevant credit points from completed courses, are all requirements for admission.
