The "Master of Education in Pracical Philosophy" program at the University of Cologne is for students interested in teaching at lower secondary, secondary modern and comprehensive schools. Over the course of four full-time semesters, a combination of lectures and extensive practical training is used to offer technical and didactic skills. The second semester is set aside for the practical semester, which will include the school as a learning place as well as centers for practical school teacher training.
