Description
The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Religious Education” is offered by University of Cologne with a standard duration of 6 semesters. It has to be studied in combination with another subject. Moreover, the basic module 1 includes the four theological disciplines: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History and Systematic Theology. Basic module 2 introduces the history of their creation and the creation of the canon and many more topics. Furthermore, the basic module 3 has an emphasis on the educational mandate of RU in the context of general education and religious development. During the advanced module, students acquire skills for problem-conscious handling of complex theological questions. However, for admission, one language at level B1 GER, another language at level A2 GER and knowledge of Greek, Latin and Hebrew is required.
