The research-oriented “Master of Science in Psychology” program at the University of Cologne is with a length of 4 semesters. The capacity to undertake experimental and empirical-psychological research at scientific institutions is emphasized throughout the course. The curriculum builds on the scientific knowledge of psychology gained during the first professional certification. Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Social Cognition, Media and communication psychology, Clinical psychology fundamentals, Research methodology and evaluation and other subjects are included in the course. Admission requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology or a similar degree, as well as understanding of English.
