The University of Cologne's "Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Sciences" program is based on a rehabilitation concept that focuses on people with disabilities, health impairments, or chronic diseases, with the goal of promoting self-determination and equal participation in all aspects of life for this group of people, as well as avoiding and counteracting disadvantages. Curative education, sociology, social sciences, psychology, and medicine are all covered in this multidisciplinary course. Two majors are integrated over the course of four semesters. An appropriate bachelor's degree in educational science, rehabilitation science, teaching special education, speech therapy, or B.Sc. Psychology is required for admission.
