The University of Cologne's "Master of Education in Russian" curriculum lasts four semesters. The degree is designed for teaching at lower secondary, secondary modern and comprehensive schools and incorporates courses from a variety of faculties and learning environments, including university, practical school teacher training centers (ZfsL), and schools. In the second semester, the practical semester will incorporate the school as a learning environment as well as centers for practical school teacher training. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required for admission.
