The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Special Education Specialization: Social and Emotional Development” is offered by University of Cologne. It has a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum for special needs education makes students able to deal with heterogeneity and diversity in an educational and didactic way, following the guiding principle of inclusion, self-determination and participation. However, for admission, level B1 in one language is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
