Description
The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Special Needs Specialization: Physical and Motor Development” is offered by University of Cologne with a duration of 6 semesters. Moreover, the following combinations of subjects are possible: special education subject I and II, Subject I or learning area I, Teaching subject II or learning area II FS Physical and motor development is studied as a special education subject II. The curriculum for special needs education makes students able to deal with heterogeneity and diversity in an educational and didactic way, following the guiding principle of inclusion, self-determination and participation. However, for admission, level B1 in one language is required, level A2 GER in another language, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
