Students can learn about sustainability, water conservation, water monitoring, macro- and microeconomics, entrepreneurship, biological sciences, ecology, natural resources economics, natural resources policy and law. Water Resources Management programs incorporate theory and practical hands-on experiences to give students extensive knowledge and preparation for a career in the field. They can find work in hydrology, resource management, consulting for agencies, planning, geology, meteorology, environmental protection, conservation, project management, water resources engineering, water monitoring and testing, analyzing and many others.
