The Master’s degree “Master of Science in Biology” is offered by the Heinrich Heine University. This course is divided into four semesters and it is both English and German-taught program. The main purpose of this postgraduate course is to further the students already gained knowledge and skills in the area of biology, as well as to develop their abilities in the other biological aspects, such as microbiology, molecular, structural, cell and synthetic biology. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The admission requirements consist of a finalised Bachelor’s degree in biology, as well as language proficiency: German and English.
