Description
The postgraduate course “Master of Arts in Comparative Studies in English and American Language, Literature and Culture” is offered by the Heinrich Heine University as a Master’s degree. This course is divided into four semesters, and it is taught both in English and German language. The main purpose of this Master’s degree is to expand the students’ knowledge in the fields of the English language, its aspects, history and development, as well as to help them analyze it from a cultural perspective and understand variety of literature texts. Throughout the fourth semester, the students need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The admission requirements consist of a Bachelor’s degree in a similar area of study, evidence of aptitude test results, as well as language proficiency: English C1.
