Description
The Heinrich Heine University offers the Master’s degree “Master of Arts in Cultural and Social Science Research on Japan”. This course is divided into two semesters, and it is a German-taught. The main purpose of this Master’s program is to expand the participants already gained knowledge in the Japanese studies, Japanese culture and social sciences. Furthermore, the students will get a chance to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in Japanese gender studies, culture characteristics, recent global changes, as well as social sciences researches and data analysis. The students also get the opportunity to stay in Japan for one semester. Therefore, the future graduates will be highly qualified to work in variety of areas, which are connected with analysis of the Japanese culture and sciences, as well as to be employed within museums, cultural agencies, global corporations and media, etc. The entry requirements include a finalised Bachelor’s degree in Japanese studies, evidence of Japanese studies trainings, as well as language proficiency: Japanese.
