The Heinrich Heine University offers the six-semester Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of English and American Studies”. This course has the purpose to introduce the students to the English language, including all its aspects, such as history, culture and application within the modern world. Therefore, it aims to prepare the participants to analyse different literature and help them to gain linguistic practice and further knowledge, in order to be highly prepared for variety of career pathways. After successful graduation, the students will be able to work within different international companies, publishing departments in magazines, newspapers and book editing, translation agencies, communication management teams, etc. The admission requirements for this Bachelor’s course consist of general university entry certificate, as well as language proficiency: English B2.
